Hi, Everyone -

I am Bobbi and I live in Ohio.  We got a group of eleven together that are planning to stitch Birds of a Feather.  Some have started, some have not.  I am almost half way around the border.  I would like to think I could complete it by the time the second installment arrives, but who knows.  Sometimes life...or other projects...get in the way!

I can't post my photo today...at least not until later.  Thursday is my babysitting day for my 10 month old great granddaughter.  Quite a challenge, but oh, so much fun!  I did start a SAL blog for our little group - participation is light because some are not that into computer things.

I am stitching my sampler on the 40 count Confederate Grey linen.  So far I have used the threads called for, and like the result.  A friend of mine is stitching hers on different linen with a few different threads, and hers is looking good too.

Looking foward to seeing completed samplers this summer.

  1. Looking forward to getting my pattern. I've always started in the middle. So, this will be new to me. Hope I don't have to frog to much and that my border will meet,LOL! Happy stitching everyone.

  2. Carm - I started with the small center flower on the top border and worked my way across both directions, counting across several times before starting down the sides. I figure if I am careful going down each side, matching as I go, the bottom should be a piece of cake!
